Halloween

Parker had fun with his cousins last weekend! Julie, Scott, Heidi and Ali came up for the weekend and so the kids had a lot of fun playing together. Parker has made out like a bandit at the trunk-or-treats we've taken him too. Brad is especially excited about that. Getting toddlers to hold still for a picture is nearly impossible, but here are some cute pictures of Parker and his cousins in their costumes.

Exciting News

We have really great news! It is recruiting season up at the universities. All of the accounting firms have been interviewing potential employees and interns. Brad interviewed for a few of each. He still hadn't definitely decided whether to start working full-time after he graduates in January and take a break before beginning an MBA program, or to take an internship and press on to get his MAcc. Anyway, he got a few job offers and we accepted one. He will be working for J.D. Clark & Company. It's an accounting firm up in Ogden that specializes in hedge funds. Brad is excited because it seems like interesting work and hopefully we'll be home-owners within a year. I'm going to be able to be a full-time mom. He will begin working in January and commute at least until I finish teaching in May. After that we will look into buying somewhere between Salt Lake and Ogden. This weekend we had parties, parties and more parties. On Friday night I had a Halloween carnival at my school, so Parker came in his costume and played with my students. We also had our ward party, which Brad helped out with. On Saturday Brad's aunt had a Halloween party at her house with some of Brad's family. We ate dinner, carved pumpkins, and just had a great time. Sunday was my birthday, so we had yet another party at my parents. We had a very busy weekend, but it was a lot of fun too.

Gardner Historic Village

This weekend we went to Gardner Village with Brad's sisters and their families. The kids loved the pumkins and other decorations. Parker walked around trying to pick up all of the pumkins.
We also went down to Springville to visit with Brad's Grandma. Parker enjoyed showing off for his great grandma.
Parker and his cousin Isabelle are great friends. This picture is at grandma's and grandpa's house. They grabbed some pumkin chocolate chip cookies and ran into the other room to hide while they ate them.

Parker's latest adventures

Parker and I went out to eat at The Old Spaghetti Factory with the girls in our family while the boys went to the Priesthood conference session. Parker had a great time flinging his fettuccine in his hair and hugging his cousin Isabelle. The other day Parker tried on a pair of my shoes. He looked pretty funny walking around in them. Parker was helping color his grandpa's birthday banner and decided to taste the markers. He never ceases to amuse everyone around him.
