Parker was so excited to begin kindergarten I could hardly get him to hold still for a photo.
Jason wore the monkey backpack so he could be just like Parker.
Here is Parker sitting in his desk at school. His teacher is Mrs. Woods.
We walk or drive Parker to school after lunch and then he rides the bus home afterwards. We only live a few blocks away, but there is a tiny section without a sidewalk. Parker is a lucky duck to ride the bus (especially for only two minutes a day)!
A few days into school Parker was the "Star of the Day".

Since, it may be hard to see, I'll explain his drawings. Under his swimming photo is a picture of his lock box, key and combination lock. Yes, anyone who knows Parker well knows he loves locks and keys. The other drawing is of Monopoly, because he loves playing games. I did give him some direction about how he might draw them, but he did those pictures entirely by himself. Now he has been in school for two weeks and HE LOVES IT!
