Hmm. . . that was easy and rather amusing
Last week our dryer started making this horrible rattling, clicking sound. Of course we discontinued its use until we had time to investigate what might be causing it. We were hoping it wouldn't take long to fix and that it would be inexpensive. We took the front cover off the dryer and started to take things apart. It soon became aparent what had been causing the trouble- take a look.
Parker hasn't needed a binky for over a year. A few weeks ago he started chewing on everything, especially books. I pulled out a couple pacifiers so that he could chew on those instead. He often "helps" me with the laundry and knows how to open the dryer and pull out the lint catcher. Apparently he also knows how to drop things down the opening when the lint catcher is out. Isn't that "helpful"? Anyway, as it turns out the repair job was fast and free. We were entertained as well.

He is a big fan of both animals and treats, so this is a fun combination. Here is a photo of him getting ready to go feed the dog.

Merry Christmas!
We all had a wonderful Christmas! Parker isn't old enough to anticipate everything, but he did know that it was Jesus' birthday and that Santa brings toys. Parker got lots of cool presents from his grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and Santa.
We had a great time visiting with family and friends. We went to parties, played games, and enjoyed a little time off.
Thanks to all of the friends and family who sent us Christmas cards, photos and updates! We really enjoy hearing what you have been doing. If you didn't get our Christmas letter and are interested in reading it, click here.
I found this cool website, where you can put in a picture and try different looks. I have tried a few different hairstyles, some of which are definitely better than others. It's pretty good for a free site.
