Liesel Loves Shoes Already!

Liesel adores shoes.  Whenever I get her dressed, she insists that I put on her shoes too.  She will often take them off in the car and cry if they fall to the floor.  If she sees another pair of shoes, she always wants to try them on.  Here she is in Jason's Sunday shoes.
Our little neighbor Brielle has these cute little sandals.  They're a little snug, but Liesel was thrilled to try them on.
She's stumbling around in my running shoes.
Here she is in Jason's flip flops.
This one is blurry, but it's Jason's sandals.
She found the rain boots.
These are a neighbor boy's shoes.
Liesel loves my leopard print flats.
She cracks us up.  She will put on the shoes and walk around the best she can, which is not well with her Dad's and Mom's shoes, but not bad with Jason's.  Here she is doing a little dance since she can get away with it in Jason's shoes, ha, ha!
We love our fashionable girl!

"Great" Great-Grandmothers

Last Saturday we drove down to Springville to visit Great Grandma Pratt.   It's an almost two hour drive each way, but definitely worth the trip.  We had mailed her Mother's Day gift, but she had it there, so Liesel is holding the little sachet.  Of course my kids will not all smile for the camera, so these are the best shots we got.
That evening we celebrated my Grandma Cannon's 80th birthday at Steve and Stacy's.  The meal was wonderful, but the best part was hearing all of the wonderful stories about my grandmother.  I have don'e life interviews of all of Brad and my grandparents, but I still learned new things.  Grandma Cannon has been one of my role models for as long as I can remember.  I hope to be just like her one day!

Kindergarten Program and Year Highlights

Parker's school ended the Friday before Memorial Day, so that week he had a graduation program.
Here's a shot of all of the kindergartners.  Parker is in the green in the lower right corner.
They sang so many cute songs.  We have the whole program on our camcorder, but I haven't transferred it to the computer yet.  They had cute actions to go along.
Here they are in their little graduation caps.
Parker is such a stud!
Grandma Aldous and Grandma and Grandpa Pratt drove up to see him perform.  Thanks!

They did a DVD slideshow as part of the program.  Parker's teacher was kind enough to give us a CD with all of the photos from his class.  These are most of the ones that Parker was in.  Here he is the first week of school.
All of Parker's class is their Halloween costumes.  Parker is the police officer in the back row.

Here is Parker waiting his turn for a Halloween game.
Here is Parker (and Liesel, Jason and I) making pasta necklaces for the Thanksgiving Indian Pow-Wow.

Handsome Pilgrims!
Native Americans

Making a reindeer hand print craft.
Playing Christmas Bingo (Can you tell I was a room mother?)
Decorating Valentine's cookies.
Creating Hundred Days crowns.
Sitting in a tee-pee as part of their Nature Center field trip.
Learning at the Ogden Nature Center.

One day they ate lunch at school so they could have the first grade experience.

Here is Parker with some of his class buddies: Parker, Oaklie, MaKayla, Carson, Parker W. and Jack.
Here are more kids in his class: Chloe, Matthew, Mason, Lacey, Tyson and Conner.
More kids: Brooke, Alexa, Aidan, Clara, Lincoln, Mei Li and Beckah.
Parker's silly pose is pretty crazy!
A month ago, for teacher appreciation week, I decorated the door.  I forgot to take a photo until the last day of school, so some of the letters are starting to peel, but you still get the idea.
Parker has really lucked out to have such a wonderful kindergarten teacher.  Parker made these thank you notes for his teacher, Mrs. Woods, and his bus driver, Richard.

Parker's Soccer

Parker's soccer season ended a couple Saturday's ago.  He LOVED soccer and he's already signed up for next year.

Grandma and Grandpa Pratt, Grandma and Grandpa Aldous, and Angie and Ben all came up for games, but of course I didn't take a good photo of any of them.  At least I have a cute photo of this little cheer leader!
Of course I never got a great photo of his goals, but this one was pretty close.
It didn't matter who made the goal, but every time his teach scored he ran down the field with his arms raised in victory!
Parker played pretty well considering this spring was his first try.  It will be fun to see how much he improves playing next year.
During one of the games Liesel was playing with a soccer ball on the sidelines.  Her concentrated face cracks me up.
Unfortunately Brennan left early from the final game, but here is the rest of his team:
Kade, Cristian, Tyson, Parker and Coach Strebel.

Ultrasound Photos of Our Sweet Baby

A week ago, at 22 weeks, I had the target ultrasound for Baby #4.  She is definitely a little girl and we are thrilled that everything looks healthy!  She was wriggling all around, of course, but we lucked out to get some amazing photos.
Here she is with her fists up by her chin.  I love how well we can see her cute face already!
Here she is rubbing her eye with her hand...maybe she was getting tired:)
The other photos are with the 4D technology, but this one is a side profile using the regular ultrasound.
This last one isn't quite as clear, but you can see her little mouth better.  It looks like she's cuddling up to get some rest.  It's a good thing babies are flexible, because right under her arms are her feet, so she's basically folded in half.
Technology is so amazing!  She won't be ready to come out for another 3 1/2 months, but we can already she her darling face!
