I love to See the (Mesa) Temple!

After the Science Center we headed to the Mesa Temple grounds.  We had fun looking at all of the cacti.

I am grateful for temples around the world to seal families together forever!

Arrival in Phoenix and the Arizona Science Center

We arrived in Phoenix around five and met our friends, Natalie and Casey Maughan at a park.  They used to be our neighbors, but moved to Arizona the year before.  Their daughter Blaire is Jason's age and Lucy is just younger than Liesel.   Jen and Eric met us at the park with the boys too.  Unfortunately I forgot to take any photos, but Jen took one.
Then we headed to Jen & Eric's house.  Our kids were in heaven playing together!
The next morning we went to the Arizona Science Center.  We knew we wanted to visit museums on our trip, so we bought a season pass to the Discovery Gateway Children's Museum in Salt Lake and it gave us free admission to other museums around the country.  Very near to Eric and Jen's is the Gilbert, Arizona Temple that is still under construction.

It was a very cool museum!!

Phoenix Zoo and Johnny Rockets

While we were visiting, these kids were buddies!  They had fun playing lots of things, including the Wii.

Our girls got lots of attention too!
Everyone loves Elise!

On Wednesday we went to the Pheonix Zoo.

Afterward we headed to Johnny Rockets for dinner.

When we got back the boys played pirates.

Thanks Eric, Jen, Adam and Will for hosting us!  We had so much fun!
