We arrived in Phoenix around five and met our friends, Natalie and Casey Maughan at a park. They used to be our neighbors, but moved to Arizona the year before. Their daughter Blaire is Jason's age and Lucy is just younger than Liesel. Jen and Eric met us at the park with the boys too. Unfortunately I forgot to take any photos, but Jen took one.
Then we headed to Jen & Eric's house. Our kids were in heaven playing together!
The next morning we went to the Arizona Science Center. We knew we wanted to visit museums on our trip, so we bought a season pass to the Discovery Gateway Children's Museum in Salt Lake and it gave us free admission to other museums around the country. Very near to Eric and Jen's is the Gilbert, Arizona Temple that is still under construction.
It was a very cool museum!!
