I love
General Conference weekend. How lucky we are to have a modern-day prophet that receives direct revelation from God in behalf of all mankind. We get the priveledge of knowing God's will for us during General Conference. Thanks to modern technology that information is readily accessible immediately all over teh world. I feel so fortunate to be alive and have a testimony of the restored gospel.
This weekend we also got to spend a lot of time with family. We came down on Saturday. Brad got to attend General Priesthood meeting with his dad and I took the boys to the traditional girls' night out at the Spaghetti Factory. Afterwards we went to Brad's sister Jen's to decorate cookies, play the Wii and visit.
That night we stayed over at my parents' house. Ben was the only one around since everyone else was in Las Vegas to celebrate the arrival of my newest nephew Dylan. We were able to hang out with Ben and watch Conference on Sunday morning.

Then we went over to Jackie and Jake's for a fantastic lunch compliments of Jake. Thanks Jake for the delicious Monte Cristo sandwiches. Afterwards the kids had an Easter egg hunt. They Grandma and Grandpa sure spoiled them with treats and toys. It was fun to visit with all of Brad's sisters and their families, along with some extended family. We stayed to watch the afternoon session of Conference and then headed home. It has been a busy weekend, but a lot of fun and extremely uplifting.
