Here are our new bunk beds! As Parker and I were putting them together he said,

"Mommy, these bunk beds are intastic!" I agree. I went to every store around and called dozens more before deciding on these
(on sale for only $299 at John Paras Furniture). I really like that they fit regular twin matresses instead of only low profile. I think these beds will last a long time too. The little sailboat stairs and bed rail are for Jason's benefit. He won't sleep on the bed for quite a while, but he likes to be wherever Parker is and so he'll surely want to play on the bed. Luckily he can't reach or climb the ladder yet, but I might be tempted to turn the bed around when he can. We'll just have to wait and see.
Parker was excited that he could touch the ceiling. "Mom, I'm taller than everyone, even Uncle Scott!" My brother-in-law is 6'5", so that is Parker's standard for super-tall.

We now have a spare spot on the bunk bed if we have anyone who wants come visit us! Tempting, isn't it?

Do you go to Circle of Life?
We have those exact same bunk beds! Looks like they are going to be fun for your boys!
The bunkbeds look great! I'm sure Jason will enjoy sharing a room with his big brother when the time comes.
