On Friday Aunt Angie came up to spend some time with us. Yay! We love seeing her! She brought up the capes my mom finished sewing for the boys. They loved running around in them. I took some amusing videos, but haven't had time to upload them.

Next we made some homeade pizza. I should have taken a photo of the finished product, but you can just know it was delicious!

We finished reading the Book of Mormon Stories reader with the boys this last week, so we had a party to celebrate. Parker made us all Nephite/Lamanite headbands for the occasion. We hid some pictures of characters from the
Book of Mormon. As the boys found each one Brad or I briefly recounted the story for the boys. For some of the stories there was an activity. Here is Parker sitting in the tent listening about King Benjamin.

Here I am telling about Samuel the Lamanite. Afterwards Parker and Jason took turns standing on the couch telling us about the birth of Jesus while we threw arrows (plastic straws) at them.

Brad teaching Parker about Alma baptizing in the Waters of Mormon.

Parker as Nephi being bound with cords. He's about to show God's strength by breaking free.

Jason loved finding the pictures, but otherwise just kind of played around. He was usually pretty good during the actual reading of the stories though. We ended our party watching this
video of Christ's visit to the Americas.

Thanks Angie for coming up and celebrating with us!
