My Angel is One!

I can hardly believe that it has already been a year since our little princess Liesel Grace was born! It seems like yesterday that we were anxiously awaiting her arrival and now she is already one. If you missed her first year video, you can find it here.

Liesel is such a sweet, happy little angel. She's pretty funny and getting "girly" as Brad calls it. She doesn't want to be cuddled much, but likes to come rest her head against your knee or follow you if you leave the room. She has developed this dramatic fake cry where she covers her face in her hands and wails. I don't know where she could have learned it, so apparently the drama is built in. That said, she still has such an easy-going, cheerful personality.

Seven months

A few weeks ago she had her first pigtails.

She can't walk independently yet, but she pulls herself up on everything and walks around holding on to the couches.

Our little Liesel Bugs (or Jason calls her "Liesel Buggies") is such a happy, sweet-tempered baby. She has almost always slept well and is truly delightful. She certainly is a petite little thing. She had her check up today. She is 17 lbs. 8 oz., which is the 5th percentile. She's actually moving up, ha,ha. She was in the 3rd at her nine month. She is 28" tall, which is the 20% and her head measures 43.5 cm, which is the 10%. The doctor was pleased at her check-up that she's grown so much. It's funny to hear, because she's so tiny, people always think she's about six months old. She only has her two bottom teeth, which is so different from my boys and their tons of teeth. Liesel loves eating, especially spaghetti, strawberries, cheddar cheese, applesauce, pepperoni and water. She loves her big brothers, even though they are not very gentle with her. She has a smile for almost everyone and a ready laugh.
