Easter Festivities

A week before Easter, the kids dyed eggs with Grandma.
They were so proud of their masterpieces.
We left the buckets and the pillow cases I made out for the Easter Bunny.  He filled them up with the books, pictures and little toys.  Then he hid them for the kids.
Parker had left carrots and a note thanking the Easter Bunny.  The Easter Bunny wrote back about how he left green eggs hidden for Parker, blue for Jason and pink for Liesel.  He also left special pictures for each of them, including our baby who is still en route to our family:).
On Easter morning the kids were excited to find their eggs and baskets.

We had Stake Conference on Easter Sunday, so it was in the morning for 10-12.  It was wonderful to be spiritually uplifted in the morning and then have time to visit with our family down in Salt Lake.
When we arrived at my parents, we attempted to get some family shots in our Easter clothes.  Liesel is actually the only one with a new outfit (which I love, by the way).  Brad and the boys all got matching ties and I was lucky enough to have my friend Kate gift me some of her old maternity clothes, including this dress.
After a while the Pratts came so we could have our annual Easter egg hunt.  We snapped a photo of Isabelle and Liesel in their pink dresses.
The kids had so much fun searching for the billions of eggs that Brad's parent's hid around the yard.
Liesel was really enjoying it!
Jason was still so excited about being a Superhero he wore his cape every day for a week.  He still wears it often, but he's skipped a few days in between, ha, ha!
Cousin Kade finding his eggs.
 Enjoying their spoils.
Jackie with sweet Isabelle and Isaac.
Jen, Eric, Adam and Will.
I wish I had a photo of Jake and Kade, Janelle and Chase, but I didn't get one.  Here are the kids playing in the wagon.  Easter was Adam's actual birthday, so the kids wanted to push him up the hill!
Brad's parents with all the grandchildren, minus Jada.
Afterwards we had a fantastic dinner with my parents and siblings Angie and Ben.  Here is our Photoshopped best family photo!
I am so thankful for Jesus Christ.  Through His perfect life and infinite atonement, He made it possible for us to repent so that we can return and live again with Him, Heavenly Father and our families forever.
Happy Easter!
