Brad has been gone this week to Scout camp up in Idaho. He'll be gone for six days; He left early Monday morning and won’t be
back until Saturday. I definitely wanted
to find some really fun things to do so we wouldn’t miss him too much. Luckily for me, my
sister Julie and her kids happen to be in town this week! She came up to Ogden on Monday and spent the
day. We started off at the Treehouse
Museum. Of course I took a million
pictures of all our fun!
Our little firemen!
Playing with the dinosaurs.
Doing rubbings of dinosaur fossils.
Checking out the fish tank.
Milking the cow.
Cowboys!
What is it with little kids and tiny places, like these shelves? I love their happy faces!
Launching parachutes.
Alison as Little Red Riding Hood
Dylan and Jason in the Tee-Pee
In the school house.
Baking in the kitchen
Parker and Heidi creating a delicious Chinese meal.
Jason traveling in old Mexican style.
Liesel wearing Mexican attire, but enjoying some Chinese food
...literally, ha, ha!
Playing with the African animals.
My fast cheetah running away!
Investigating the Mongolian Goa Yurt. That stuffed horse made Liesel super nervous, ha!
Learning more about the fish
All the kids, except baby Brandon had their faces painted.
Liesel loved the babies!
Doctors
The Treehouse does fun activities like "Participlays", where the children are able to be actors. Parker was chosen to play the Snake, who transformed into the Dragon King.
The other kids were part of the river.
Here is a couple short clips to give you an idea.
Jason trying to free the sword from the stone
and finding a puzzle, of course!
Heidi, Parker, Ali and Dylan with their castle creation.
We love the Treehouse!
