On the 4th of July we headed down to Salt Lake. We went to my parents' late that morning. The kids made these flags, well, Angie helped Liesel. Liesel noticed the baby swing in the corner and wanted to try it out...for about 30 seconds, ha, ha!
This is her cute holiday outfit! I bought it last year on clearance for $3!
For dessert we had banana splits!
I don't know how Parker thought of it, but he wanted to see how fast he could run. My dad and Angie measured 75 feet in the backyard and almost everyone tried it out.
Parker loved it and tried it over and over!
Jason ran a meandering course, but he loved showing off how fast he could run!
Ben was the winner for fastest!
My mom and picked up some Pop-Its for the kids. The boys loved throwing them!
Afterwards we went swimming at GGs, but I didn't take photos. We went swimming there again a couple days later though, so more pictures will come. That night our neighbors down the street had a ridiculous fireworks collection. It was basically like going to a public park with the giant explosions. I was rather concerned that they'd start a fire, since there have been so many lately, but luckily that didn't happen.
I am so thankful to live in our wonderful country and for all who have helped to preserve our freedoms and make it such a great place to live!
