We returned today from a mini-vacation up to Park City. We started off the fun at the Utah Olympic Park. We checked out the bobsleds, luge sleds and lots of 2002 Olympic paraphernalia. Parker especially loved the games they had at the museum.
Our next stop was Historic Main Street. We walked through some of the art shops and stopped for ice cream.
Then we headed off to the Yarrow Hotel. It sprinkled a bit during our swim, but the pool was heated, so we didn't mind.
Afterwards we took a drive to see some beautiful scenery.
We came across some pretty cool wildlife too. This fox was on someone's front lawn. That's a doggy treat it has in its mouth.
We went around the corner and saw a deer with its baby. It's too bad we couldn't get a better picture.
Brad and I appreciated the delicious filet minon at the hotel's restaurant while the kids were headed home with my parents. (Thanks for picking them up and letting them sleep over!)They got to enjoy a night with grandma and grandpa and we got to enjoy a night without kids; That equals a great time for everyone!
When we came to pick up the boys we found my mom pushing Parker around the family room at great speeds in their car built out of Omagles. The boys, my parents and Aunt Angie had all had a fantastic time! Yay for vacations, even if they're short. (Thanks to my awesome cousin for the great hookup in Park City!)
