Vegas Trip

We took a vacation down to Las Vegas for a few days last week. The kids did great in the car- thank goodness. Parker still asked if we were in Las Vegas every fifteen minutes for the entire ride it seemed. We got to see my brother Pete and my sister and brother-in-law Julie and Scott. The kids did great playing together- well most of the time. They still needed a little "refereeing" on occasion.

Ali and Parker are only four and a half months apart and loved playing with each other.

Julie and Scott have moved into a beautiful new home lately. Jason didn't want to put his knees on the hard tile, so he crawled around like this- so awesome!

We decided to go to the Las Vegas Temple grounds. It was absolutely beautiful, of course.

The kids would much rather run around and try to climb in the fountain rather than pose for a picture, but what can you do?

We don't often take our kids to the Strip when we go to Vegas, but this time we decided to head to the Bellagio Hotel. Here we are posing in front of a 899 pound pumpkin in the Bellagio Conservatory.
The kids were mesmerized by the talking tree they had. They could have watched it for hours. You can't come to the Bellagio and not see the fabulous fountain shows! Hands down it's my favorite thing on the Strip. We also took the tram from Treasure Island to The Mirage to see the giant aquarium. I love how my brother Pete is pretending to be as thrilled as Parker about the "train" ride. Since I haven't really shown any pictures of my sweet nephew Dylan, here he is. Isn't he cute? If you love rootbeer floats, smile really big!
Thanks Pete, Julie, Scott, Heidi, Alison and Dylan for a fantiastic time in Las Vegas! We look forward to seeing you again soon!
