Happy Birthday Brad!

It was Brad's birthday a few days ago and we celebrated all week. The fun began last weekend at my parent's house. We watched a slideshow video starring Brad and then ate some delicious banana cream pie. Parker helped with blowing out the candles. Next we went over to his sister Jackie's where his parents and siblings were. We surprised him with his favorites: red velvet cake and mint chocolate chip ice cream. Everyone loved the video and the photos brought back fun memories for his family. Here is a picture of him as a child. Isn't he cute in his little suit?

Brad got some great gifts too. Thanks to everyone who contributed to his memory/tribute book. We really enjoyed reading it! Luckily Brad had his actual birthday off of work, so we made a special breakfast and enjoyed much of the day together as a family. Parker loves doing "heavy hangover" with the gifts. Jason didn't quite get bonking Daddy on the head. He kept putting the present on his own head. Oh well, he had fun anyway. That night I took Brad out for filet minon, fried rice and noodles with vegetables at one of our favorite restaurants: Tepanyaki. Later we came home and and had rootbeer floats with the boys.
