I love Easter! Yes I love the springtime, even more I love spending time with family, but most of all I love the reminder of Christ's resurrection. Every time I hear of someone's death, I can't help but be sad. It's hard to think about what else they might have done in their life and all of those close to them that were left behind.
The reality of the resurrection brings such comfort. We still miss those that have passed away, but I know that they are in a much happier place and that we will see them again.

"O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive." (1 Corinthians 15:55, 20, 22)I am so grateful for my Savior Jesus Christ. I know that died for us to atone for our sins. I also know that He was resurrected and lives! I love having Easter to remind me of this joyous truth.
I also love that General Conference fell on Easter this year. I am so grateful to have a living prophet to share with us what God would have us know and do.
We started off the pre-Easter celebrations by dying Easter eggs. Jason enjoyed watching and Parker loved it!
Here are his finished creations!
We went to a ward egg hunt on Friday. Jason loves finding things and gathering them in his basket. Easter is his kind of holiday!
Here is Parker and his buddy Jack after the hunt.
Easter morning the Easter bunny left the kids with another Easter egg hunt! We reused some their candy from the other hunt. How much candy do kids need?
I also made them some new hooded bath towels.
Between conference sessions we went to Brad's sister's and met up with his family. Here are the cute kids!
I love the picture on the right with his cousin Isabelle. Parker looks so sharp in his new suit!
Everyone enjoyed a great meal. These kids have so much fun together!
Grandma Pratt read the kids an Easter book that Parker loves. He has read it multiple times a day since. Everyone loves Uncle Jake.
Do you think there are enough eggs? There were this many in mutiple rooms. What lucky kids!
Jason is an old pro when it comes to egg hunts now. A few weeks ago I bought a dozen plastic eggs at the store and Parker and Jason have been hiding and finding them daily ever since.
Here is Parker's loot! I'm sure another egg couldn't even fit!
Uncle Eric told us about Minute to Win It. A tv show where they compete doing silly tricks in less than 60 seconds. One of the tricks is to blow all but one card off a deck set on a water bottle. Parker and Chase actually accomplished it!
Meanwhile Jason and I were playing catch. This kid sure loves playing with balls!
My sister Angie fixed a delicious Easter dinner for us at my parent's house. Here is a picture of my dad and the boys in their nearly matching attire.
After dinner the boys wanted to play with the toys, of course. Luckily for them, at my parent's house there are lots of willing adults to play with them.
We hope your Easter was as fun as ours!
