Random Fun

For the last month or so the boys have loved to hide behind the blinds to our back sliding door. I've tried to discourage it, but it's hard when Jas hides, then peeks out with a huge grin and exclaims, "buh!" (boo).

Jason has been saying (or attempting) lots of words lately: Dadda, Mama, Mom, "babba" (Parker), "bah" (ball), "wah-wah" (water), "nana" (banana), "grah" (grape), "mik" (milk), etc. He also does animal sounds: "roar", "cack, cack, cack" (quacking), "woof, woof, woof", etc. He also will point to body parts and people. What a smart kid! I can't believe how fast he's growing up. He's learning so much!

When Aidan was over playing they made these scary masks. They had a great time being scary!

A few weeks ago when we were at Jake and Jackie's the kids were dancing around the living room.

Suddenly exhaustion must have overpowered Jason, but the other kids just danced around him!

These three were playing with Elefun and decided the nets doubled as pretty sweet hats.Jason found some of his cousins shades. Pretty cool!

Last week when we had the snow, we got all suited up and went out to play. Parker loves making snow angels. Jason was not much of a fan. His boots were a litle too big. With that and the snow he couldn't walk around well. He cheered right up when I carried him though. Last week at the store we saw some off those little pellets that turn into animal/bug shaped sponges in water. They boys loved it and continue to play with the sponges every day. That dollar was very well spent it seems.

Here are the boys showing off their tupperware filled with the finished products. One of their favorite activities now is to have egg hunts with the sponges. These represent hours of entertainment at our house! On Saturday we went to my nephew Adam's 3rd birthday party. He had a construction party and the kids had a fantastic time! Here are Parker and Isabelle in the bounce house. They had these cute cone and hard hats for the kids. Brad doesn't always wear a suit (only mostly). We had stake conference that weekend, so Brad had to head straight to a meeting after the party.Instead of a traditional cake, they piled brownies in the back of this dump truck. After Adam blew out the candles they dumped them out on a plate. It was a fantastic idea and a great party!Afterwards we stopped by my parents. Parker and Angie played in the backyard for most of the time.

Every once in a while I pull out some of my old teaching supples. Parker LOVES them. He found some of my addition puzzles. The math side is a little too hard, but he does great figuring out the picture side of these puzzles. They're still tricky, but he loves a challenge!
