The Weekend Plus

On Saturday morning we were finally able to see our new nephew Will in the hospital. Parker and Jason were a little disappointed that they couldn't see the baby yet, but they had fun playing with Grandma and will get to see him next weekend.
A few days ago I passed the 30 weeks pregnant mark. It's fun to think that in two months our little baby will be here!

William sure is a cute guy. I love his little chubby cheeks. He made some really fun faces while we were there too. Here are a few of his expressions:
On Sunday evening we went to our church's annual patriotic concert in the park. I love the reminder of how many have sacrificed so much for our freedoms and I love patriotic songs. The boys had fun dancing during some of the more lively songs and we all had a good time.
On Monday night I took the kids out in their jammies again. It was Brad's last regular season game. It was a late game, but that meant he could go after his MBA class. We haven't gone to many games this season, so I wanted to make sure we got in one more. Because it was mostly dark for the game, the pictures aren't the greatest, but I guess the blur is kind of cool.
Brad made a few runs and nearly even got a home run. He was tagged out sliding onto home plate, but it was very exciting to watch.
The boys had so much fun watching the game. Last week Parker checked out an easy reader library book called The Berenstain Bears Play T-Ball, so he was excited to know more of the rules. He kept a close eye for caught balls and carefully kept track of how many outs each team had. He even added another possibility to his future careers: umpire. Now the most common list is: "incountant", doctor, fireman and ump.
Jason has been talking up a storm lately. He literally talks half the day and can say dozens of words at least. I need to get a better video of it, but here's one from breakfast the other day where you can at least hear his little voice.

Fun stuff! I love the library - books give kids so many new things to consider. Also, congrats on passing 30 weeks! She'll be here before you know it!

Man I am missing out on your lives! I love reading you blog. Cute picture of jason talking and I didn't know Jen had her baby. He is gorgeous. I will need to call her. :) I love the story about you guys being trapped too. Between tears of laughter and chills of the spirit I just had to thank Heaven for our baby boys that teach us so much and help us to enjoy (and cherish and ponder) life. :) I love you guys.
