My Crazy Monkey Love Bug

Jason turned 2 1/2 way back on June 2. I've been meaning to do a post on him since, but unfortunately I'm a bit behind; better late than never, right? Jason is a fun combination of energetic comedian, dare devil monkey and loving cuddle bug. He is not the least bit nervous of heights, but is nearly terrified of unleashed dogs. He loves to tease and joke and laugh; he says the funniest things. He also loves to roar and growl and has already taught Liesel to imitate it. He is almost always willing to share "in a minute", but will scream and likely try to inflict injury if you take something without asking. He is also my sweetheart who has an endless supply of kisses and hugs. He loves for me to sing him songs and he usually sings along in his loud clear two-year-old voice. It's adorable! His favorite songs are "ABCs", "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" and "123s" all sung to the same tune. He also loves "I'm a Child of God", "Teach Me To Walk in the Light", "Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam" and "I love to See the Temple".

Jason knows all his colors and can count perfectly up to twelve. He can nearly count to 20, but skips a few numbers along the way. He's following after his brother's love for letters and numbers and can reliably count up to six objects. Jason loves to play with his toy animals, puzzles and anything he can sort. He loves putting the Uno Moo balls or fishing game fish into piles by color. He also likes stacking things in the castle. Jason is also hugely energetic. He loves to play Hyper Dash or Toy Story Round-Up with all of the targets far away from each other so he can run to each one. He loves to ride his motorcycle and can cruise surprisingly fast on it. He loves the green froggy boots. He puts them on all the time, often on the wrong feet. He loves being tickled. He loves playing in the water in the pool or in the tub. His favorite foods are bananas, macaroni and cheese, applesauce, strawberries and cottage cheese, but he will eat nearly everything, except chocolate (crazy kid!).
We love you, Jas!
