We had slept over at my parent's house on Christmas morning and we had another full day of fun. We started off Christmas morning with a visit from my grandparents. We gave all of our grandparents a frames family photo of us and a collection of our family home videos. You're right, we're totally vain. Grandparents are just the type to appreciate it anyway.
Next we opened presents with my family.
This giant one was a Track & Train table from my parents. They love it!
Brad and I got some great stuff too.

Both Parker and Jason had a lot of fun playing in all the boxes.
Later Christmas morning we went to Brad's Grandparents for the traditional Finnan Haddie (smoked cod) breakfast. My favorite part of the meal is actually the grapefruit slush. Yum!
Jason was so worn out that he took a little nap on the couch.
Parker was terribly dismayed about the idea of trying the Finnan Haddie fish. Of course after he was forced to take a bite, he smiled and said, "Yummy!" Jason really liked it too.

Of course the boys were spoiled with more presents.
Afterwards we went straight to Brad's parent's to exchange more gifts. Her are my super-generous in-laws with my little nephew Kade. They gave Parker the coolest stunt track. Even Brad and I have fun watching the cars flip all around.
We gave Isabelle this color-your-own playhouse.
It's been so fun to have our neice Jada in town for Christmas! We wish she lived closer so we could see her more often.
Sunday evening we had a party with my mom's family. Pete and Scott started off the talent show with a guitar duet of "Silent Night".
The kids sang a lively chorus of "Jingle Bells". Here are Jocelyn, Parker, Alison and Heidi.
After the talents we sang some Christmas carols and had a gift exchange.
The best part, however, of all family parties is the company of course. Here Brad, Jason and my cousin Ann Marie are enjoying the fun.
Afterwards we headed back to my parents for a gift exchange with my siblings, since Julie and Scott hadn't been in town on Christmas. They gave Parker and Jason got this Sit 'N Spin toy which has already been put to plenty of use.
On Monday we came back down to Salt Lake again to go to a party at my Grandma Cannon's. She always had fantastic parties. The food was spectaular as always. This year for a change we had bread pudding and blackberries for dessert. It was super delicious! After dinner we had a nativity play. Parker was a wiseman with my cousins Daniel and William.
Then we had a wonderful talent show. Here are my cousins Ellie and Catherine performing an incredible piano duet.
Catherine is my look-alike cousin. Other than my curly hair, she looks just like I did when I was her age. Here's a photo of us together last summer. Catherine is on the far left.
We had the traditional reciting/reading of Jebez Daws and Cajun Night Before Christmas. We ended the talent show with passing out music to Handel's Hallelujah Chorus. We sounded exactly like this- okay, we didn't, but we enjoyed it. Here are my sister Julie and nephew Dylan during the singing.

As you can see, we were spoiled rotten by the generosity of all of our amazing family. We got to spend time with them and celebrate the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. We hope that you had a phenomenal Christmas holiday too!
