A few weeks ago my sister came into town from Las Vegas, so we headed down to Salt Lake to meet them. They had some other commitments earlier in the day, so I decided to take my kids to the Church History Museum at Temple Square. It's fun and free!
We spent a few minutes walking around the temple grounds.
The museum has a great children's area that the kids loved. Here is Parker fishing on Lehi and Nephi's boat.
Jason is checking out the Liahona.
The kids liked placing the felt pieces on the artwork.
Jason loved these little dolls. You can change their clothes and move them around.
Parker looking at the golden plates.
Checking for eggs
They found some!
The kids also loved the quilting section.
Even Liesel liked moving around the magnets.
Stitching their own giant quilt.
Parker snapped this photo of Liesel and I.
Afterwards we headed to my parents' home. My brother-in-law Scott is involved with the opening up some Papa John's pizza franchises. They had just had an opening in Cedar City and decided since they were halfway, they could continue up to Salt Lake for a visit.
Parker and Heidi enjoying some Koosh ball badminton.

My dad with his new grill
Liesel crawling with her awesome headband placement.
Of course the kids spent time looking for potato bugs (pill bugs).
Dylan and Jason spontaneously starting pretending to be tigers and giving each other rides. It was hilarious!
Dylan was a lot better about actually moving along with someone on his back.
Liesel trying on Angie's glasses
We tried to get a photo of the kids, but they weren't very cooperative.
Heidi's birthday was coming up so we had a little party for her.
Happy 7th birthday "Hydro"!
We love spending time with family!
