My in-laws, especially Brad's sisters, often refer to Liesel as "Little Ida", because they think she looks so much like my mom.
They haven't seen photos of what my mom looked like as a child, they just think she looks a lot like her now. It's true! There is also a resemblance in this photo of my mom when she was about two.
I should try to get one of Liesel with the same expression, but I haven't.
We love our "Little Ida" and the grown-up one too!
